BES Receives Dep-Ed’s E- Classroom Project

Balanga Elementary School ( BES ) received an E- classroom package, a nationwide computerization project of the Department of Education ( DepEd ). This was after it was chosen as one of the pilot schools of the said program in the Division of City of Balanga.


          As per the E- classroom package, each recipient school will be given an interactive whiteboard, an LCD projector, a multi-in-one printer, one high-end PC server with seven terminals and software needed for classroom instruction. The package includes teachers training on skills needed and required in the use of said equipment and facilities.

 

          For this purpose, the heads and the information and communication technology ( ICT) coordinators of the recipient schools along with the division’s ICT coordinator took part in the Orientation of Batch 7 of DCP e- Classroom Project at the Tagaytay Intl. Convention Center on August 14-15, 2011.

 

 

         Led by Mr. Mari  Paul Soriano, Director III, Technical Service and Mr. Elmer Guisano,  who used top-of-the line conference approach called TElepresence, The Tagaytay workshop trained said officials on DepEd’s ICT programs and projects; The Digital Learning Resources 2011 for Elementary Schools; the Acceptance Inspection and Recording of Deliveries procedures; the Integration of ICT in Bureau of Elementary Education and the use of Interactive Whiteboard.
