by: Sherly C. Doton In July, the
Department of Education led the whole nation in the celebration of the 30th
National Children’s Book Day. This is in support of the Ten Point Agenda of the
Aquino Administration, to promote the “Every Child a Reader” Program. Based on
this school year’s theme, our school held activities like Storytelling, Shared
Reading and “Book sa Sulok .”
We also conducted Storytelling, Book
Making and Shared Reading Sessions in the lower sections of each grade level in
coordination with the pupils of SPED and section 1. This activity also served as our outreach
program. Officers and members of the SPG also assisted us in undertaking this
outreach program. |
